AM Up-loader Help

Installation
AM-UpLoader does not need to be installed as such, simply download it to your desktop and it's ready to use. If you decide you don't want to use it, all you have to do is delete it off your system.

Note: AM-UpLoader uses ftp so may not work over certain company firewalls

Login


Registered user
If you are a registered user, enter your username and password provided. Once logged you can use the on-line ordering system.

Guest
If you are not a registered user you can login as a guest. Type your company name and your contact email address and this will give you access to your personal guest area. Although you don't have access to on-line ordering will be be able to create email order in exactly the same way as the registered user.

Uploading files
Drag and drop or your files onto the ANUploader2 window (or press the 'browse' button to select files). Optionally, create a folder (see below) where you want the files to go on the server and press 'send'. The AMUploader2 will then start uploading your files, the progress bar will keep you posted on their progress. When complete you should be able to see your files displayed in the server view.

Manipulating files and folders

Creating a new folder
Go to the files menu: edit-Create new folder on server. Type a name into the dialog box and press ok. Your new folder should appear in a second or two.

Renaming files
Select the file with the mouse and right click. From the pop up menu select 'rename'. Type a name into the dialog box and press ok. After a few second you will see the file with its new name.

Deleting files and folders
Select the file or folder with the mouse and right click. From the pop up menu select 'delete'. After a few second you will see the file disappear.
Note: When deleting folders please make sure you do not have nested (folders in folders) folders as this may cause an error. Delete these first.

On-line Ordering

Once you have uploaded your files and can place an on-line order. Simply click on the 'Order Work' button to open your virtual order pad. Enter your requirements, there are 4 columns with 'drops downs' to help you do this, either use the list provided or enter details yourself. There is also a notes area if your requirements are more complex. Don't forget to enter when you require this work and your reference for the job. When this is done just press send to place the order.

Note: With registered users your order is automatically placed on our system and can be viewed, printed and even tracked from the site. Guest orders are emailed and placed in the current folder on the server.

Cancellation

If you decide to cancel your order, please phone AM at the earliest opportunity.
